Hey all.
I'm enjoying a nice beer I forgot to finish last night and writing this in Hannes's appartment.
It's been a fun couple of days. We've cooked with some of Hannes's friends, gone shopping for his mother's birthday, ate the most delicious meal of my life, legally ordered alcoholic beverages, and was only five hundred meters from a World War II bomb exploding in downtown. It's been pretty crazy.
It's beautiful here though. Last night we went on a bike ride to the resteraunt and we went through some of the German countryside. Absolutely breathtaking.
Sadly I'm still having trouble with my sleep patterns. At midnight last night my body decided it was time to be awake and alert so I didn't really sleep at all.
I'll get there though.
Hope all is well stateside, and also that you're all eating your hearts out as I enjoy German cusine, long bikerides through the country, and evenings partying in a country where the percentage of gorgeous women is significantly higher than those of America.
Best wishes,
~Sam
P.S. German keyboards are annoying! The Z and Y keys are reversed, and the # kez is where we would normally press Enter.

ReplyDeleteThere's usually an easy way to switch the keyboard setting from one language to another. Doesn't change the keyboard itself, but it changes the keys to be what you're used to.
